Shoppes at University Place to Host Annual Summer Concert Series
Charlotte, NC (Vocus) May 15, 2009 -- CASTO (http://www.castoinfo.com), one of the country's leading real estate organizations, announced today their summer concert series will take place every Thursday in June and July at the Shoppes at University Place (www.shoppesatuniversityplace.com). For a total of nine concerts, patrons can shop, dine and listen to great music from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM every Thursday. The Shoppes at University Place is located at exit 45-A off of I-85 on the corner of W. T. Harris Boulevard and N. Tryon Street, in Northeast Charlotte.
In addition to the concert series, Shoppes at University Place is encouraging the community to bring a non-perishable food item to drop in one of the many food barrels surrounding the concert to benefit Second Harvest Food Bank in Charlotte.
"In this economic climate, thinking outside the box is pertinent in order to drive shop volume," stated a spokesperson with CASTO. "We think this event, tied with giving back to the community will do just that," she added.
